Q: What is ConfTool?

ConfTool is quite similar to other conference management systems, so you might compare it with ones you have experienced before. For more in depth information, you could also go to http://www.conftool.net

Q: How do I become a ConfTool user? How can I create a user account on ConfTool?

Go to www.conftool.com/globelics2016 and register. Here you will be able to submit your paper, register as reviewer (if invited) or register your participation (registration opens end of June 2016).

Q: How can I register for the conference?

You will get an invitation for registration when your paper proposal is accepted (acceptance notification 20th of June 2016).

Registration without presentation will also be possible. The fee structure will be published on this website.

Q: What is my username or password for log in to the ConfTool system?

If you forget your user name or password you created earlier, please use the function “Forgotten your user name?” or “Forgotten your password?” when trying to log in to your account to receive your login information.

Q: How to receive updates on my new e-mail address as my previous address have been closed?

Please change your email address in the conference system (ConfTool) since all information is sent via the conference system.

  1. Presenting authors: Conference fee includes: Conference Entry (all 3 days), Delegate Pack and Badge, Welcome Reception (Wednesday), Conference Dinner and Cultural event (Thursday), Lunch x 3 & Refreshments during the Conference.

Please be aware, that the conference fee does not include accommodation. The presenting author of an accepted paper will, however, be provided with local hospitality for three nights (11-13 October 2016) and only three nights. All other expenses in the hotel such as mini bar, telephone, laundry, late check-out, extra nights etc. are on own expense.

  1. Non- presenting participants: Co-authors of an accepted paper and other specialists can participate in the full conference programme by signing up as non-presenting participants. Please note that only a limited number will be able to attend under this category.
  2. Accompanying guests can attend the Welcome Reception (Wednesday) and Conference Dinner and Cultural Event (Thursday). Accompanying guests are not permitted to participate in the scientific programme. If your friend, spouse etc. would like to participate in the full conference, they will have to register themselves as non-presenting author.

 

  1. Participant from Indonesia: the conference fee doesnot include accommodation. For further information including non-presenting participant and accompanying guests please contact Ms. Lailani (+6281910451113).

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Once you have paid for your registration, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • The registration of participation is binding.
  • The participation fees are owed upon registration and are payable within 7 days following submission of the registration (but not later than 7 days after the deadline for registration).

Participation is not guaranteed until full payment of the registration fee is received.

 

The conference program may be subject to changes.

 

Payments will be refunded if the conference will be canceled by the organizer. In that case, the organizer will have no further liability to the client. Registrations remain valid if the conference has to be postponed.

 

Cancellations must be made in Conftool https://www.conftool.com/globelics2016 as well as per mail to bandung2016@globelics.org.

 

Calculations for refunds are as follows:

  • For cancellations received and confirmed before 10 September full refund except a EUR 50 administration charge.
  • For cancellations received and confirmed between 11 September – 1 October – 50 % refund except a EUR 50 administration charge.
  • For cancellations received and confirmed after 1 October – no refund will be given.

 

 

There are no reasons (including but not limited to illness, inability to travel, visa application rejection, travel restrictions etc.) for delegate cancellation which make the above schedule of cancellations inapplicable. Refunds will be made within 28 days of receipt of cancellation notification.

 

Transfer of registration (presenting authors):

Registrations are personal and cannot be transferred.

A presenting author who has been granted three nights of accommodation (cf. above) cannot transfer this free accommodation to anyone else.

In special cases where the presenting author has to be changed due to unavoidable circumstances, the author granted three nights of accommodation need to apply for transfer by contacting the Conference Organisers at: bandung2016@globelics.org no later than 1 September 2016.
